Quinoa is more than just a seed. It’s also a great source of carbohydrates and jam packed with amino acids, nutrients, protein, fiber and taste! While good eaten on it’s own as a side dish, I find that quinoa’s flavour profile is best appreciated mixed in a salad with a light vinaigrette. The acidity and salt help intensify the nutty flavour this seed is packed with.
